What is Testosterone Propionate 

Testosterone propionate is an oil based steroid with an propionate ester which will cause the steroid to be released from the injection site over the duration of a few days. This is different then the likes of testosterone enanthate which is much more slow acting compared to the propionate ester, which requires much more frequent injections to make sure blood concentrations remain stable.

Advantages and disadvantages

The major disadvantage is that users have to inject Testosterone Propionate at minimum every other day throughout the cycle to get proper results. The advantages, however, are easier control and prevention of potential side effects.

Injection information

propionate should be injected daily for maximum effect since it is a very fast acting ester. Every other day injections are also acceptable, but an injection frequency of every third day is likely the longest schedule you will want to put yourself on when using propionate. Injections any less frequently than that and you will risk not using the full benefit of the steroid and this will ultimately result in smaller increases in muscle mass and strength. If you do not find such a frequent injection schedule to be an attractive one, you should consider a longer acting single ester testosterone such as enanthate or cypionate.

Stacking and use
 
Since propionate is a short acting steroid, most users will want to use 50-100 mg every day to every other day. As mentioned earlier, on injection schedules less frequent than that, risks of not optimizing the steroid are possible. Since spot injections can become sore and irritated, rotating injection sites is advised to prevent pain or discomfort. While using propionate to bulk up, stacking it with a base compound such as deca-durabolin or equipoise, dianabol or anadrol for the first 4-6 weeks can help to jump start mass and strength gains.
