Rubber tyre gantry crane(also called RTG) is one kind of Gantry cranes which iscomposed of gantry, lifting trolley, crane travelling mechanism, cab and electric control system. It is widely used in ports, freight yards, open storages, container transfer station, etc. to load and unload containers.
This rubber tyre gantry crane adopts box-shaped structure, with the girder a bias track double girder and the leg U type.
The headroom span is nearly 7m. Working duty is A5-A8. Weight is from 5-500t, span is from 18-35m.
The girder can be designed with cantilever or without cantilever. The end of two main beams are designed to be connected with end beams to meet high level requirements
