 MAGNESIUM ALUMINUM SILICATE (VEEGUM)

Magnesium Aluminum Silicate products are naturally occurring water-washed smectite clays used worldwide to stabilize emulsions and suspensions and to thicken a wide range of products.

High purity MAS conforming to the National Formulary are used as thickeners, binders and suspending agents in a wide variety of pharmaceutical applications such as, tablets, acne creams and lotions, analgesic creams, anti-diarrheal suspensions, etc.

 Pharmaceutical grade magnesium silicate aluminum is mainly used as auxiliary materials in the pharmaceutical industry.It is excellent  pharmaceutical excipients ,due it has good  hygroscopicity ,   suspensibility, dispersibility, cohesiveness ,thixotropy,excellent function of emulsification & adsorption.

Function:

HZ-MAS-HV (same with VEEGUM HV)
A higher viscosity grade used in pharmaceutical suspensions, topical emulsions and other personal care products. HZ-MAS-HV is USP/NF Magnesium Aluminum Silicate Type IC. 

HZ-MAS-K (same with VEEGUM K)
Provides good suspension at low viscosity. It has low acid demand and high acid and electrolyte compatibility. It is used in acid pH pharmaceutical suspensions and in hair care formulas containing conditioning agents. HZ-MAS-K is USP/NF Magnesium Aluminum Silicate Type IIA.

HZ-MAS-F (same with VEEGUM F)
An ultrafine powder perfectly suited for uniform dry blends, most useful for direct compression tablets, pressed-powder eye shadow and reconstitutable treatment masks. HZ-MAS-F is USP/NF Magnesium Aluminum Silicate Type IB.

HZ-MAS-R (same with VEEGUM R)

The original and most widely used grade. It is used in all types of cosmetics and personal care products. HZ-MAS-R is USP/NF Magnesium Aluminum Silicate Type IA.

HZ-MAS-HS (same with VEEGUM HS)
Provides maximum electrolyte stability and minimum acid demand. It is used in acid pH pharmaceutical suspensions, in hair care formulas containing conditioning agents, and in face masks. Its relatively low viscosity contribution allows it to be used at levels high enough to enhance skin cleansing. HZ-MAS-HS is Purified Bentonite N.F
