Product Description

The raw material of HaNPV is a grey material, the concentration of active ingredient (virus count) of which is as high as 500 billion PIBs per gram, the highest concentration ever reported in the the world. The high quality and high concentration make it easier to be processed into diversified formulations, such as wettable material (WP), water dispersible granule (WDG) or suspension concentrate (SC), etc. The hosts of HaNPV are cotton bollworm (Helicoverpa armigera), oriental tobacco budworm (H. assulta) and corn earworm (H. zea), which infest in the cotton field, tobacco field and vegetable field, and are very susceptible to the virus.

Henan Jiyuan Baiyun Industry Co., Ltd., the Pilot-Scale Base of Bio-Pesticides, Institute of Zoology, Academy of Chinese Science established in 1985, located in Henan Province of China, is a high-tech private enterprise. Supported by Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences with its technologies, consultations and intellectual property, the company is specializing in the development and production of baculoviruses as bio-insecticides. More than 10 entomologists and 30 agricultural technicians are engaged at the company. We are dedicated to the development of organic and environmentally friendly bio-pesticides, insect pheromone(semiochemical) and biofungicide.So far, 5 insect virus bio-pesticides are being marketed home and overseas , such as Helicoverpa armigera nuclear polyhedrosis virus (HaNPV), Spodoptera exigua nuclear polyhedrosis virus (SeNPV), Spodoptera litura nuclear polyhedrosis virus (SpltNPV), Plutella xylostella granulosis virus (PxGV) and Cydia pomonella granulosis virus(CpGV), all of which are being produced on a large scale. Six core technologies have been patented at State Intellectual Property Office of P.R.China.
