The SSC P7 LED is a very high current, low voltage LED that is made by Seoul Semiconductors.
It runs at 3.6 volts and maximum current rating is 2.8 amps, even though I have seen them run higher current than that.
Seoul Semi rates the output at 900 lumens (Laboratory figures)
It's probably impossible to actually get 900 lumens from this light in the real world, but this LED is really, really bright.
At this time, it is the brightest single LED I know of.
This LED is much brighter than Halogen and HID bike lights.
