Properties:

Toxicity:

Acute oral LD50 to rats 2280mg/kg

Acute dermal LD50 to rats 5000mg/kg, in air,when density≥71.5mg/m3,it has no harm to small rats.

Application:

It has a very high vapor pressure at normal temperature and has strong poisoning action to insects. As a fumigant, it is used, heated or not, for controlling mosquitoes, flies and other pests. It also substitutes for camphor balls to preserve textiles.
