Tilmicosin solution

Main component and chemical name:

Tilmicosin, 4A-0-des (2,6-dideoxy -3-C-methyl -L-ribose-pyran hexyl) -20-desoxy-20-(3,5-dimethyl-1-piperidyl)-[20(maleinoid form: trans-form)]tylosin

Character: The product is light yellow to yellow brawn clear liquid.

Pharmacological action:

Pharmacodynamics: New macrolide antibiotic, it can obstruct transpeptidation and mRNA displacement then refrain protein synthesis of bacterium through effecting 50s ribosome subunit of bacterium. The antibacterial action is similar to Tylosin, mainly anti-Gram-positive bacteria, also has effect to Gram-negative bacteria and Mycoplasma. The antibacterial activity to Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae , Pastometer, Mycoplasma is stronger than Tylosin. the amount of 95% Pasturella haemolytica are sensitive to the product .

Pharmacokinetics: Be absorbed quickly by oral administration ,the character including tissue penetration is strong , distribution volume is large(2Lkg), the concentration in lung and milk are high, the half life can reach 1-2 days . effective blood drug concentration can maintain a long time.

Drug interaction:

1. Can increase the dead of swine if be used together with Adrenalin.

2. It is not suitable to used with other Macrolides, Lincomycins antibiotics and Chlormycetin because of the similar mechanism of action.

3.There will be antagonism if be used with βlactam.

4. It has coordinate repression to Rhodococcus equi if used together with penicillin or rifampicin.

Indication: Antibiotics. It is used to treat infection caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pastometer and Mycoplasma.

Usage and dosage: Oral administration in drinking water, for poultry, 75mg/L of drinking water (count with Tilmicosin, 100ml of the product mix with 133L of drinking water), during 3 days.

Adverse reaction:

1. The toxic effect aim directly at cardiovascular system, can cause tachycardia and contractility of myocardium weakened.

2. Many animal may show dose dependent gastrointestinal disturbance after oral administration, such as nausea, vomit, diarrhea and stomachache.

Announcements: It is forbidden to use for layers in laying period.

Withdraw period: Poultry, 10 days.
